Been sitting/laying around a lot the past 7-10 days. A good rest/reset I take around this time of year, every year. Been eating any and everything I want. Pumpkin bread, sugar cookies, Chinese food, drinking wine and consuming ungodly amounts of TV. Football and this show called Gold Rush (so good hahaha)
MAJOR BUM VIBES! Is it not so easy to build negative momentum?

A good ol system reset. You can drink black coffee and water.
You will get hungry, but that is okay! It’s very important that you go to bed hungry.
I’m approaching a 48 hour fast as I write this. Already I feel the momentum building. I’ve hit a workout and a 7 mile ruck. I did a sauna and ice bath with my homie MikeD. Read a book last night (mere Christianity) instead of watching TV.
OOOOOOOBUDDDYYY!!! Can you feel it? MOMENTUM!!!
It’s literally that easy! Don’t make it be harder than it neee’s to be. Win the mental battle TODAY!!

See, I’m not like your other fitness or lifestyle gurus. I admittedly fall off the horse multiple times per year. I go camping with family and friends and drink beer and eat burgers. I get caught up and binge a TV show with my girl. I grab chick-fil-a on road trips and eat every homemade cookie my wife makes! I did this all 2024 while having abs, running a 71 mile ultra, three 50k ultra and rucked a 100k! Bench 365, pistol squatted 155.. .the list goes on. I’ve read nearly 2 dozen books this year, had a phenomenal year in business and more time with family than any year before! Hell, we even had a baby this year!
I don’t spend time trying to go about health and personal development with perfection. That doesn’t exits! Well, maybe it does but that is not a lifestyle that I care to lead. What I have done is found harmony and MASTERED getting back on the horse.
This is a call to ACTION.
